Child safety

Child safety standards

These are the published standards of Stiitch, Inc. against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on Stiitch. They explain how we work to keep minors off the app and out of its content, how you can report anything that endangers a child, and what we do when we receive a report.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.

Zero tolerance

Child sexual abuse and exploitation have no place on Stiitch. We prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors — in stories, video replies, messages, and profiles alike.

Age requirement

Stiitch is not intended for children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and we remove accounts we learn belong to children below that age.

Reporting is built in

Anyone can report a story or a user directly in the app, and anyone can reach us by email — no account or login is needed to contact us.

Cooperation with authorities

We comply with applicable child protection laws in the regions where we operate. Where content appears to involve the abuse or exploitation of a child, we preserve the report and relevant information and refer it to law enforcement.

How to report in the app

  1. Open the story in question.
  2. Tap Report story in the story's options.
  3. Choose a reason and add any details that help us understand what happened.
  4. Tap Submit Report.

You can also block another person directly from their profile or the story options, which stops them from interacting with you. You never need a reason to block someone.

How to report by email

For any child safety concern — including content you saw before it disappeared, or something that happened outside the app — email us at support@stiitch.io with the subject "Stiitch safety report". Include the usernames involved and what you saw. Do not send us copies of illegal imagery of any kind, and never send passwords or verification codes — we will never ask for them.

How we respond

  • We review every report and act on content or accounts that violate these standards — removing content, disabling accounts, and blocking people who break the rules.
  • Where a report suggests a child has been or may be sexually abused or exploited, we preserve the relevant information and refer it to law enforcement.
  • We respond to reports without undue delay and keep the person who reported informed of the outcome where we can.

How we prevent harm

  • Stories and video replies are visible for a limited time, and community reporting plus review catch violations quickly.
  • Accounts are limited to people aged 13 and over, and we remove accounts we learn belong to younger children.
  • Blocking, reporting, and privacy controls are available to every user, and our Privacy Policy explains how reports and account data are handled.

The rules for everyone using Stiitch — including our prohibition on content that endangers children — are set out in our Terms & Conditions. Questions about these standards can go to support@stiitch.io at any time.
